Activating Phone message but not active

It started yesterday and this morning; got into my car and the display says 'Activating Phone' but it just keep trying to activate. Don't think it's my phone, I think the issue is with the C; anyone with this problem?

Thanks.

Anytime something like that happens, I just reboot my phone and it pairs correctly again.

What kind of phone? Was the phone previously paired or is this a new pairing?

iPhone 6, it's been paired and worked for the last 3-4 months without issue. I can't get into the pairing mode in the car since it is trying to activate the phone feature. I will reboot the phone but don't think the phone is the issue.

Make sure the phone is discoverable under the phone's Bluetooth menu. You can also have the phone forget the MB connection and then find and re-establish it.

Phone has no problem discovered by other Bluetooth devices so most likely the car. I'm going to the car soon so wish me luck.

No, each device has to discover the phone to add it to its own Bluetooth list of paired items. If you haven't made it discoverable again for the MB network, the car can't see it. Of course, why it lost the pairing in the first place is a whole other issue.

My guess is that the dealer will have your phone forget the network, then just do a re-install.

Well it's working again. I just got into my car and it connected; four times in and out of my car so I hope this is just a small glitch. Glad it's working however. Thanks all.

Bluetooth just does that sometimes.

For example, my phone and smart TV lose auto contact sometimes, and then are happy again a few minutes later without me doing anything, same with my laptop and phone, or laptop and TV.
