C Class W205 C250
Audio20 Garmin nav
I have a South African built C250 built this year, it has the Audio20 system with a Garmin Nav card. When I push the steering wheel voice control button the system goes to the navigation screen and gives me a message saying that it doesn't support this language even though I have selected English in the Garmin settings, any suggestions?

It would have been better if the salesman had told me what won't work rather than what will, I'll see if I can get this retrofitted

What is the code for Voice recognition, can't seem to find it in the price list (Swedish)?
I have the same problem and would like to get it working, could the voice control be a software "add-on"?

Hi i have a 250 4matic estate delivered may 2015 french spec built in bremen. It is the executive line with audio 20 and garmin sat nav. The voice activation works but not for all functions. So i can search recent locations and poi but i cannot search specific towns roads etc........the reason being the language is not supported. So it can search english instructions but cannot cope with french place names. I suspect voice recognition only supports english.......it was not an optional extra to have voice activation on the french spec.

I changed the system language to English and than the voice control started to work. It is not enough to just change the Language on the NAV. But I guess I prefer to have the car in Swedish and be without voice control. Maybe a future update will give me both, or enable to just have the NAV in English. Will report back to the dealer to see what they say.
