C300 Aftermarket Resonators

I had some FlowMaster installed and get some droning at crushing RPM's. I find myself manual shifting most of the time now. I've look into some the Audi and BMW guys who are toying with their T-4's. Anyone here using aftermarket resonators? I was hoping the BMS tune would have cut it down but it didn't. Half tempted to go back to stock and a elect downpipe if I can't sort this out. It's all business during the day and with 70 miles worth of winding roads, it all party on the way home.

Does the tune not increase boost therefore cause it to be louder?

City cursing speed 5th/6th gear @ 35/45 mph is when I start taking over the shifting. The harness is setup in stage 1. So there's no big noticeable difference. The car sounds good 80% of the time and we don't have the X-pipe option.
I know the car can sound good. Just hoping someone had already done some of the R&D to save me a step or two.
