RFT's did their job. Tire pressure said I had 0 PSI in big bold red letters and I heard the air escaping as I pulled out the bolt. But the tire was rock solid and got me to the dealership.

Took our new W205 to Americas Tire and they wrote a tire ins. policy for $17.00 per tire and yes they are run flats. Did the same on our 2006 Lexus GS300 when we bought it and it paid for it self.

Replaced tyre
OMG I totally understand I had to replace my tyre only after owing my new CLA45 AMG 2015 for 5 weeks after a tech screw entered my right rear tyre ��
As these aren't run flat tyres !! And the tyre pressure indicator didn't come on till it was too late and the side wall of the tyre wasn't able to be repaired ...
Expensive , if this keeps on happening !!

I had to replace one of mine with 2.5k on it after hitting a pot hole on the highway. The dealer was nice enough to give me 10% off the price of the tire. I do feel your pain.

Yes, and they do do run flats. The first guysaid no but then a second guy said he was looking at the wrong screen. They have the RF's for the mid 200's.

I almost got insurance for my 19s run flat tire premium $65/month at the dealership!!! Good thing i did some research and end up paying $115 usd worth of insurance for the life of my 4 tires! sweet

I had a Pirelli Cinturado go after 5000 miles but it was a road hazard. I paid the same. Sucks. The worst part was it took the dealer 5 days to get the tire!

I am going to start calling all my local tire shops to see if I can get a tire warranties/insurance.

Discount Tire is the local one in Utah. They are going to do a price quote tomorrow! Thanks for this info and said it took one of us getting a ruined tire for all the info!

I got it.
I am surprised that they offer it on tires they didn't sell to me. 100% free replacement and mounting for the life of the tire. So if I get a flat, I get a new tire.

Don't forget that also includes free balancing every 5,000 miles. That will also extend the life of the tires.

Why are you surprised? Companies do not sell warranties as a courtesy to consumers. Selling warrantees of all kinds is a major money maker for the companies that sell them. I'm sure they make a ton of money off this warranty regardless if they sold the original tire or not.
