W205 C220D AMG Line
Beeps after Switching Off..
Does anyone else get this with their W205?

Had the car for around a week now and noticed a faint, fast beep that seems to come from the rear of the vehicle after parking and shutting off the engine. It seems to last for 20 seconds or so then stops. Fairly quiet, and I'm sure it probably relates to something specific but I'd love to know that it's not an issue I need to get looked in to!

Thanks for the reply.

Definitely sounds more electrical than mechanical to me, I'll keep an eye on it over the next couple of weeks and will get it looked as if necessary.

I had that on a hire car, and when I told my dealer I did not want that on my C250 when I get it, they said you can turn it off in the car settings

Seriously??? You can turn off a faint beeping from the rear of the car after its stopped via vehicle settings?

I wonder what that would be under.. Turn off annoying faint beep from rear after locking?

I had the same query after getting mine -appears that the noise is the Blutec system cycling

Thanks. I suspected it may be something like that, but wanted some confirmation it wasn't just mine that was "noisy". I'll keep an eye (ear!) on it.

Re. Audible lock notification, thank you for the suggestion but not at fault here. I believe this triggers a horn notification on lock? Certainly more subtle than that.

The audible lock notification on my U.S. 2015 C300 is a slight beep of the horn (in front, of course).
