I will be ordering a C450 in black very soon. Can anyone tell me how to get body colored door handles. I want the night pkg, but I don't think that includes door handles. Thanks.

Body colored door handles are standard

I know that on some standard exterior items they are listed. I saw two different black C450's on a dealer's lot and the handles were chrome.That got me to wondering how to make sure they will be body colored.

I could be wrong on this, but I believe if you get Keyless Go, you'll get door handles that are partially chrome and body color and if you don't, you get completely color matched.

I park next to a C class in my condo. The owner does not have Keyless Go and the door handles are completely body colored. My new C Class has Keyless Go and my door handle's are chrome on the top and body colored on the lower half.

Correct. Keyless entry = Chrome faced handles.

All others are body coloured.

PS - I do recall seeing a post where the metaic blacks had normal black handles though…

It is the other way around. Solid black cars have metallic black handles. Looks kind of bad if you ask me.

My car is solid black and so are the door handles.

My car is solid black and has metallic handles. Pretty pissed for a car that costs over $ 50.000. And they can't paint the handle the same color cause it's cheeper to store in just 1 black..
