MY ***** SITTING LOW ON A 3PC FORGED RIMS
Hi everyone! Joined MB World when I purchase my MB C400 9 months ago. I find this forum incredibly useful in making my decisions and people are very helpful. Great to hear your first hand experiences, great to see members posting awesome pictures of their cars... gives me a lot of ideas. So I thought of sharing my new set up too.
My whip sitting on RSVFORGED Sportsline Directional 3pc rims, drop w/ H&Rs sport suspension spring to compliment the diameter of the wheel & height of the car. Caliper professionally painted w/ Red Brembo color. Painted all Badges w/ Satin black , gloss black trim along the trunk , add c63 AMG Lid boot spoiler and AMG c63 night package Exhaust & Diffuser to have that aggressive look at the rear end. I like the c63 style grill compared to Diamond grill and oem stock with 2 fin, c63 style with one fin is more simple/clean (IMO) but looks very mean, the black version makes the STAR pop out. Change the side mirror cover 040 code w/ oem RED foil is one of my favorite mod.
Next project is to delete the rest of the chrome parts to compliment the color of my car
Also, I would like to Thank Vic Viper, Angeloxnet and Jim_OSMS_Carlsson of offshore Motorsport for the great ideas that you guys have shared ESPECIALLY on the forum. Greatly appreciate it.

Definitely improve handling. H&Rs imo offer close to stock ride during normal driving for ride comfort. Yet increase in stiffiness during acceleration and when the vehicle leans as its is pushed to the limit. Over all love the H&Rs

Why mod it like a c63 when it not a c63...the mirror foil cool but where is the radiator foil also your car listed as a c400 but you have c63 diffuser, front grille, and badges....to do all that might as well ordered a c63....but 2 each their own ijs

We modify cars to make it look the way we like it I like Red foil around the front apron/radiator too but i go by the vin number to get oem parts, obviously it wont match but was thinking of wrapping with vinyl when am ready to wrap the front car with clear bra for paint protection.. Yes its listed c400 like what knowledge said...its "c63 inspired mod", but am not stupid to remove my c400 badge and slap c63.. I bought my car January 2015... if you ordered your car like a year ago.. I guess we have pretty much the same reason why we end up same c400... neither c450 or c63/c63s

Thank you. Have you try ebay?? Just type w205 Grill.. I like to stay with oem parts but this style/part is aftermarket.. wish there was oem.. Quality of the grill was okay but i still bought extra OEM chrome star and slap it on my aftermarket grille

I bought it $45 or $65 usd set not sure of the exact amount, not cheap for a pc of oem foil but definitely you can afford it.. bought it in Europe thru my friend but check Mercteil.com or search them on ebay just type mercteil mercedes.. My friend sell mb parts on ebay too will send you his details and code for the red foil later when i get home.

I must say hands down this is now my favorite modded C. I had a couple questions since I work at a Benz dealership in Hawaii. For the front grille did you just order it by grabbing a amg VIN number? How was the install. did you need to retrofit or was it more a simple remove and replace once the bumper was off. I have a c450 coming in 2 weeks and am not a fan of the diamond grille. Kinda want to go with the 63 bumper but maybe that mod will satisfy the urge.

im not the OP but i recently swapped out the stock grill on a C300 to the diamond grill and there are a bunch of tabs holding the grill to the bumper. Once you pop the off the old grill, you simply pop in the new grill. I am pretty sure it is the same procedure if you were to swap out the diamond grill for the amg one.
