Winter tires
A question for experienced people.
I'm looking for new wheels for winter tires (for a C400 4Matic AMG Line).
I hesitate between :
- Front & Rear : 7.5J x 18", 225/45 R18
- Front : 7.5J x 18", 225/45 R18
Rear : 8.5J x 18", 245/40 R18
Which do you think is the best setting for winter ???

Go for the 7.5J all round - no advantage in wider tyres for winter; it's also the MB recommendation. Same size also allows for wheel rotation each season, though possibly not required on your 4matic. Easier to sell on when the time comes.
