Hi,

I've been driving the new W205 model for about a month now (already have 3500km) and ever since the day I got it, I have some trouble closing the panoramic roof.

I did not yet visit my dealer for this, as I can still close the roof eventually, but it still troubles me.

So for my problem:
Opening the roof, tilted or full, goes without a problem.
But when I try to close it, either at full stop or while driving, it doesnt close. (no problem when only tilted)
The moment the roof should click back in place, it starts opening again for about 15 cm and then stays there.
I have to try 2-4 times, before it actually wants to close completely. (it always goes back open for a few cm's).
I doesnt matter if I push the button completely or half.
On rare occasions, it closes fine at first try.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Or should I visit my dealer?

Schedule a service appointment at your dealer.

Its probably nothing you can fix yourself anyway. So schedule and appointment with your dealer, they probably need to adjust something via software or / and hardware / alignment issue. Hard to know.

Sounds like there is a tight spot on it's travel, causing the obstruction detection to kick in.

As said before - take it to the dealer.
