You don't remove the aluminum bracket that's way to much work.... And there's no access from the bottom I put the car on a lift and it's just not practical. The easiest is from the top. With two fingers you can push the clip on with a lil patience.

hey guy's, thanks for all of your input! I have two concerns prior to pulling the trigger on the purchase.
First: are the people throwing codes having any difficulties at the dealership? I.e. Warranty void concerns?
Second: the installation looks really complicated for someone who has limited knowledge of engines. (I am good at problem solving and following instructions it just seems like the instructions are not very descriptive or intuitive.). Am I over thinking this or is the install more straight forward than it looks.

Thanks for your help. I'm just concerned that I'm going to create a 50k yard ornament.

The throwing codes has been figured out.... There are certain setting that need to be changed in the bms unit that will keep from throwing a code. I've run the unit since I've had 250miles, basically a week after I bought the car..... No issues. The installation is straight forward if you know what your looking at, and where to look. That being said I am a mechanic and tune cars... So this wasn't anything different then what I'm use to.

There shouldn't be any codes, unless there is a setting issue with the car. In some cases we've had to lower the open loop setting. Not connecting the green wirnig patch eliminates the need to have to work with that setting. That patch is only needed for E85 fuel use anyway. The basic install is very easy. Just a few minutes. The hard part is connecting that devil MAP sensor if you get bored and want more power than the basic install offers.

2016 C300 4Matic amg package
Any long term reviews someone could give me? On the Fence of pulling the trigger. Also any recommendations on what to get with the JB4 or what NOT to get with the JB4 to avoid future problems? Thanks guys.
