Proclip installed for iPhone
Good quality and very good custom fit, but it did make me nervous snapping the clip into the dash.
Overall I like the way it's positioned and think it was a good investment.
Sorry, have no idea why the pics came out sideways either

If you're using an iPhone, a couple generations ago, they made it so that if you take a picture vertically, they'll post sideways. I've finally trained myself to take picture horizontally (sideways) with the home button on the right. They'll post correctly to forums that way.

There are three versions, make sure you pick the correct one.

I had one of these in my Maxima and was considering reusing the phone holder. However, the mount in maxima broke when one of my passengers got in the car. He was tall and his knee basically hit it breaking the plastic and the mount was useless after that.
What would you say the likelihood is of any of my passengers hitting this with their knee and breaking it. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Yeah, when it was good it was good; solid, never dropped. But after it was knocked off, a piece of the clip where it inserts in between the panels broke off and it never stayed put. The holding components are very innovative though. I had a real slick one when I had an iPhone--just dropped the phone in the USB-cradle and it charged, mirrored the screen onto my deck, everything. Real slick.

Thanks for the pics...I had the proclip in my diesel Jetta (before VW bought it back from me), it mounted nice and high and fit the phone well (adjustable). Initially I thought this mount was way to low and to the right, but maybe it will be just fine. I know, tight cockpit.
Previous to the 2015 they had a mount on the left pillar...but apparently the side airbags on the 2015 don't allow that.

Amazing all the smart-*** responses....
The pro clip system works great. Looks awesome for the driver - but not great on the passenger side.
I don’t know why... but at least 75% of people who get in bump it. The screw for the phone holder is now giving out. I can get a new one, but it is a pain.
