C450 Correct Tire Pressure

So... on the A Pillar, it states the car should have 42 PSI front and 41 PSI rear. However, the gas door states during full load it should be the PSI as stated above but when there's only 3 passenger and less load there should be 33 PSI rear. These are for the stock 18", I swapped them out with Performance Winter Pirelli Sottozero 3.

What is the optimal and what is the difference? My main concern is tread wear, performance, comfort, road noise, etc.

I rarely have more than 3 passengers at times 4. The trunk is almost always empty.

Thanks for the feedback!

look at the inside of the fuel filler cap, those are the correct pressures, for the 18's normal load is 36 front 36 rear.

Fuel Filler Door is where the proper tire pressure recommendation for your car is located.

Your 18 inch tires are most likely XL/extraload/reinforced, search for it.
Those have an AT-presssure ( pressure for wich the maximum load is calculated) of 41 psi in American System and 42 psi in European system.
On sidewall only maximum allowed cold pressure is given for Standard load and XL// and varies from 44 psi tio 51 psi for sl , XL sometimes even 60 psi.
The space between that is used for higher speed and camber angle above 2 degrees +-.

I am able to calculate the needed pressure, call myself tirepressure-specialist nowadays. Will spare you the long story about it.

Need for that from car the loads per tire, second best axle, but in lack of that I need GAWR's and GVWR ( Gross Axle/Vehicle weight rating) for fully loaded, and for normal use , Empty weight and the way you load it ( wich you already gave). Also the maximum speed you use and wont go over for even a minute.

From tires read from sidewall:
Maximum load or Loadindex
Search for XL/Reinforced/Extraload , if not its a standard load tire.
Speedcode of tire or maximum speed of tire.
But also give sises so I can google to see if XL or not.
Example : 235/40 R 18 95W XL
95 stands for Loadindex and is 690kg/1521lbs maximum load allowed for up to 160km/99m/h.
W stands for maximum speed of tire 270km/??m/h and officially the tiremakers agreed in their system that maximum load is calculated for up to 190km/h but keep it at 160/99.
XL says that its XL// but sometimes thats written somewhere else on sidewall.

Give that all and I will calculate for normal use and fully loaded.
Mind that if you are fully loaded , you most likely wont drive maximum speed.
Or it must be running from the police with 20 gold bars in back , when having robbed a bank
