So I need a front right passenger side headlight. Body shop says the dealer said the parts house is back ordered . By the way these lights are $1400 each so I hope none of you end up needing one. Anyone have any suggestions ?

Somewhere in this great land of ours, a distant relative of yours must busted the left side of his C-Class. By now, your local junk yard must have a nationwide website to find the undamaged passenger side headlight assembly. Then for a fee, the junk yard where it is will remove it and send it to your repair shop. Be sure to get the correct number for your car's headlight assembly from your repair shop and also instructions for how the sending junk yard can tell if it's the right assembly. I can't guarantee this will work, and it might take as long or longer than waiting for the parts house.

Make sure you buy the correct headlight, there are three different types for the W205 in the U.S.

Thanks guys. It's amazing the dealers, body shop, etc have no idea of time frame or solution to getting this. It's just, wait and see.
