Hey guys great deals, two questions...

One of the members on here expressed concern with the increased hp numbers on the stock intercooler for the C450 after an OE ECU Flash...any idea if you guys have run into that yet for the C450s you have flashed?

And secondly, can we expect a blog post in the near future in regards to a C450 stock and a C450 after your tune? I think many members are just waiting for a few vendors to actually show dyno results of ECU flashes as opposed to hypothetical piggy back results.

The OEM intercooler works fine with just an ECU tune. For better flow and performance an upgraded intercooler is always a good idea.
With regards to a blog post and dyno test specifically for C450, this is in the works with another member.

Surprised and happy to see our lowly M274 C300s are represented on that list. Didn't know you guys offered a tune. What output increases would you expect for the Stage 1?

Nice! Would this require a permanent modification to the ECU housing, as with a W204 ECU?

All we require is the ECU to be sent in for tuning and modification. Same day turn around is guaranteed for all ECUs that arrive before 12 noon. There is no "permanent modification to the ECU housing". W204 C300 with M272 are flashed via OBD2.

Sorry, I meant the 2013 and onwards W204 C300, which requires a visible change to the ECU housing (hole drilled into bottom of case, which is then filled with a plug).

For 300 & 350 GDi with MED17.7.1 ECU, drilling the ECU is required to read and program the ECU. We patch the ECU so that it is not noticed. We have not had any issues from the dealership regarding drilling the ECU.

Hi Live in NOrcal, i always go SOCal.. how long does it take to reflash ECU? was thinking when i drive to l.a and swing by your shop? currently driving c400

Hey guys, quick question, can you guys program a two-step launch control on these ECUs for the C450?

I think that would drastically cut 60 ft times and give a little more in trap speed.

I recall on my Evo, my tuner put in a 5800 rpm two step, and any time I launched very few people were keeping up.

Just curious if we could do something similar here...
