C450 rattle thread/and solutions
Just want to start a thread about any annoying rattles buzzes or creeks that anyone has in their c450 and any solutions... I have a small rattle coming from the command screen or front center dash.. I also have the rear seatbelt rattle from the top near the c pillar..and I also think the rear door rattle but it's intermittent.. I'm gonna try to check them out this weekend myself cause my past experiences the dealer usually never finds them and sometimes even makes new rattles trying to solve the original ones..

Let me know what you find out. I am interested as i also have some small rattling coming through the passenger speaker as well as the center dash

Took off the c pillar trim near the rear speaker and found the seatbelt spool would rattle a lot when I tapped on it..couldn't tighten anything cause it seemed to be stamped together.. So I covered the whole thing with foam and cloths and reinstalled the trim.. I can't hear the sound anymore so the foam worked for that.. I haven't had time to look at the front speaker rattle or door panel rattle yet
