Damn. Do you remember when Audi was the new Jack, coming up and steeling market share in the mid 2000s? They marketed themselves as the fastest growing luxury brand amongst the young and prosperous. Ten years later Audi has lost its edge again. My VWs I loved so much became the Toyota to their Lexus looking for mass appeal, and the Audi's barely went upmarket.
I was buying a Golf R 10 months ago, and then an S3 6 months ago. The perceived value is just not there anymore. The Mercedes interiors blow away everything from VWAG. Not to mention the leases on Audi went insane!

 

How the heck did you get piano black on the door inserts???!!! Even on the piano black center consoles I see the door inserts still come in brushed aluminum on all the ads I have seen so far. Is this a special options code?

 

I think it's an optical illusion, the linden wood can be seen very dark.

Yes, on a C63; it looked good. Also looks good with either of the carbon fibers.

In this Florida heat. MB-tex is way cooler. I really don't mind the way it looks either.

Leather obviously looks better.
