Thats what an old fart who's been driving an S for the last ten years considers "sporty" and "fun".

With the AMG bits off the table I did a custom build, ticked pretty near every option and still came in $7k under the 450. Still ironing out the deal but at least I know what I'm buying.

Those were *definitely* bookmarked when I was waiting for mine to arrive at the dealer

Not even kidding

I believe you. I'm normally a black exterior, machined or silver clearcoat wheel guy. The first new W222 I actually admired was a Palladium Sport on the Multispokes. I think because the barrel of those wheels are the same color as the body, and the face design emphasizes the diameter, those wheels and that body color seem to best represents what the designers were going for. It seems to elevate the presence of the C versus other combos.

But I haven't put a lot of thought into it or anything. 😆

I am nornally a black on black guy and I am surprised when some cars look better in colors other than black like the C Class above. Another car like that is the R230 which I wouldn't have in black but looks just right in silver.

Don't understand why the color above is makes the car look so good.
