I'm by no means an expert, but here are my reasons:
  • You can't add comand after the car is built.
  • You can add 19" wheels at a later date if want
  • Comand's integration for navigation is fantastic
  • Voice command on Comand is awesome - Touch the voice button on your steering wheel and you can control just about everything by voice
  • The larger screen is really nice and it's glass, not plastic

I also agree with others that Burmester is a MUST have in the C Class. A MUST have!

Glad you went with the command unit. In the long run you would have ended up regretting it if you didn't.

Plus as others have stated you can upgrade your wheels down the line.

Glad you think that way. It's really reassuring when you guys say that! As I consider most of you guys here as experianced. And this is my 1st bought car so I'm always worried about regretting chosing something over something.

hahaha I was thinking something along those lines when I read 'brewmaster' and then I read your comment....golden.. That made my night. I was expecting to see a post from gfmohn, to rip on poor OP for the grievous misspelling of burmester as he ripped on another OP for starting a thread with it misspelled lol.

Anyways, back on topic - I'd have opted for the Command vs the 19 for the same reasons as mentioned.
-Difficult to retrofit Command vs 19s after the fact
-18s in my opinion are already quite - the 17s are horrendous when compared to the larger size of the vehicle than previous w204.
