Panorama roof material
Just curious about the material used on the top of cars with the pano roof. I know the entire top is not made of glass. Beside the glass parts, what material is next to glass part? Is it aluminum painted in gloss black? Is is black gloss plastic similar to the B-pillar (that can scratch easily) ?

It's not painted aluminum, nor plastic like the B-Billar. Both of those exhibit slight distortion in reflections over the surface (especially the paint; the plastic is smoother). The surface of the roof panels is as uniform smooth as the glass.
Apart from getting a ball-peen hammer out and smashing it to prove a point , I'd say it's glass (especially the rear part behind the pano).

I hope the entire surface is glass instead of part plastic because I would have to be careful cleaning it to prevent scratches.

I don't think it's all glass, I'm pretty sure the part behind the windshield is painted. When you tap on it, it sounds more solid.

If the part behind the windshield is painted, it's the most incredible paint job ever. It's simply too perfectly smooth to be painted. I believe it's all glass. You can only see through the part that is open to the inside of the car.

I think its a coated metal, in the corners it looks like metal to me the way it is rounded and curved
