Hey everyone, new to this forum and wanted to share my excitement as I traded in my 335i for a C450 last week.
Car is amazing, much faster than my old 335i. One quick question for those who have the same car: under moderate to heavy acceleration, do you guys hear a metallic ticking noise coming from the engine? The noise isn't present under light acceleration or when the car is stopped. The noise gets louder as the revs build up. Just wondering if that sound is normal. Any help on this is much appreciated!

I haven't noticed ticking, but have a faint buzzing sound that comes from the dash area. As the rpm's increase the frequency seems to as well. My Audi did the same thing, so I assumed it was normal.
