When to check the engine oil(W205)

I checked the owner manual of C sedan of 2016, it says on page 331 as a

So what does the last note mean, keep the engine running 30 minutes after a cold start, or shut down the engine for 30 minutes after it briefly started.

If we are supposed to check the engine level always after the engine has reached the normal operating temperature, why they highlight the AMG models?

If the oil is cold it takes longer for it to trickle from the top of the engine into the pan. To get an accurate level you want virtually all the oil to be in the pan.
