Xpel protective film any good against stone on highway?
Hi, I recent have a stone chipped at the front of my W205. Very sad and unpleasant. This event triggered me to research on internet to see what is the best way to protect stone chipping the car.
I found Xpel Ultimate, but just wondering whether it is good? Has anyone used the film at any or is there other better solution? Thank you!

XPEL Ulitmae, Suntek, or the new 3M film (not the older films) are all very good and self-healing for the most part. If a stone hits them, almost always it will absorb the impact, and if the film looks damaged, usually a few days in the sun or time with a hair dryer fixes that. It's possible some objects will hit with so much force as to still damage the paint underneath, but that is not common.
Xpel Ultimate works. On a previous car, a rock hit the hood so hard it put a quarter size dent in the hood. The paint was unharmed - had paintless dent repair (PDR) done on the hood and it was just like nothing ever happened.
