Plastic Squeak

Hi Guys

Does anyone else have annoying plastic squeak when resting your arm on the centre console or even touch the center console on it's side. I also have this with the door panels.

Not sure if you can hear the sound in the youtube video I made

Does anyone have any suggestions ? Should I take the centre console out and try insulate it with foam ?

Does it make a noise any other time than when you press it? If it does then take it to your dealer for resolution under warranty.

It generally only makes noise when going over bumpy roads but otherwise ok. Our dealers here in South Africa are very loathe to sort these types of issues out. My car was in for almost a week for a rattle in the rear deck.

As its probably the plastic strip around the centre console you could try sparingly to use some PTFE (Teflon) spray behind the strip and wipe away the excess with a microfibre cloth.
