Hey fellas I'm driving myself mad here trying to figure out all these different configurations, offsets etc.. I could use some advice from the pros. Ideal setup is 19 staggered. I do not want 20's, I do not plan on dropping the car, I would like them as flush as possible without there being any rubbing. I just don't have the patience for rubbing at this age. I don't want the tire stretched Id prefer to have some protection along the edge. Finally I love the concave look. My specs are as follows...
2016 C300
Rear wheel drive
F 225/45/18
R 245/40/18
I appreciate all feed back and please help with every single measurement.
Avant Garde Wheels M615 (Sold as Stance Wheels in Sweden)

Back wheels: 10j Offset 45

Back tires: 255/30-20 Yokohama Advan Fleva V701

Big thanks to angeloxnet who wrote down good guideline measurements for the 20" wheels in a thread from 2018 and to janusgrimnitz who posted some inspiring pics.
Accurate measurements has been horrible to find for w205 due to a million different sources but with the above the wheels looks flush, the ride is comfortable and there is no rubbing.
I scoured this site to figure out rim sizes and lowering springs for my wifes car, it seemed I could never find spring/rim/tire info for an S205 all in one place so I'm hoping good karma comes from sharing what I did. The car is a 2018 c300 4matic wagon.
Springs: HR 28811-4
Wheels: Niche Misano's. Front 19 x 8.5 et 42mm, Rear 19 x 9.5 et 50
Tires: Front 225/40/19 Rear 255/35/19
The alignment came in properly (rear camber is ok), and there is no rubbing at all. I would have liked to lower it a little more, but the wife wasn't into it. The ride is decent, not that far off of stock. If I could choose custom offsets for these wheels, I would have gotten a 9.5 et 45 for the rear and an 8.5 et 40 for the front, I think this would use up the tiny bit of room thats left and still wouldn't rub. Sorry for the dirty car pics, once the chrome is deleted and its clean I'll repost.
Mine is finally done. MSW Type 30. 7.5 x 18 ET40 Fronts and 8.5 x 18 ET48 rears.
NO MORE MODS!
I bet you get a pretty smooth ride out of those 18's... I have the stock AMG 18's on mine but the tires are bad and side wall is short... those 45's should cushion your ride, no?
Love my wheels but hate cleaning them. 19-8.5 front and 19-9.5 in the rear. On these wheels I should have done that same on the front as the back with offset of 45.
so I've been thinking about new rims for next season and considering 20s but getting mixed answers for fitment, looking through the posts here it looks most that are using ET 40 front / 50 rear with no issues (8.5j / 9.5j )
I came across a few seller (eBay) that are telling me that 20x8.5 et35 and 20x9.5 et38 also works with no issues ..... Wouldn't this et make the wheels poke out of the fenders?
my car is a s205 4matic amg line (sport suspension )
