Car creaking like crazy after being lowered?!?
Been lowered on H&R springs now for over a month and it creaks even after going over the smallest bumps.
Have had 3 other cars prior to this all lowered on H&R and none of them sounded this bad.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Try loosening the nut on the upper control arm bushings, make sure they're not getting too much tension on them and retighten them. I know when lowering on links you're suppose to free up those bushings first and then tighten them once the drop is set.

I have always used dry lube on the spring seats (rubber inserts) during strut re-assembly.. it helps the spring seat as well as possible at re-assembly and then seat filly therefter..
As per previous advice, loosening off all the suspsnsion bushes in their new lower position and re torquing can remove binding in the bushes which can cause creaking..
During manuf, we compress the suspension assembly to simulate road ride height ahead of tightening to prevent this... copying will only help
