My C180 recently reached 5500km (rougly 3400miles). While I was cleaning the engine bay during the weekend, I wanted to check the oil level and shocked when I have seen that the level is below minimum line. First thing on monday morning, I drove to the dealership to have them check the level. They checked it and added around 350ml of oil. They said that it may be caused by factory. I don't know whether it is true or the car consumed that amount of oil in 6 months. I have driven Honda fit for 5 years and never added a single drop of oil between services. Does anybody here experienced any consumption in such short time?

My '97 M3 drank 3l of a 7l capacity in the first 3 months. that was considered normal during break in.
