Has anyone been able to unclip the 3 piece front lip/splitter?

Huge thanks to mmaldin!

For anyone trying this, I'm not sure the whole heat shield needs to be dropped. May be able to get away with removing the front four bolts and flexing it out of the way to access the rivets.

Once the two expansion rivets are pulled, I think the rest can be worked from the front. Need to get a pry tool under the bottom edge of the center piece and pry while tugging from the front.
I would definitely try matching the weave on the drivers side, nice work!

Good eye! I find that if I take my glasses off and squint the weaves all match up.

Ditto,
I need to replace the center piece one only. A video or "how to" would be greatly appreciated. I want to do this right.

I know this is an old thread and possibly a dead one. I’m new here. I am trying and trying to get the side pieces off. What a pain! I’m afraid to break the plastic. So far I’ve been working at it fro the backside. I’m hesitant to start poking around from the front as I don’t want to mark up my paint. If I’m to pry from the front, do you suggest the bottom edge or around the top? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Looks like we all feel the same way. don't want to mess up painted surfaced to replace damages lower lip piece. Fortunately mine is just the center piece damaged and not the side one. I definitely don't want to be messing with anything from the top side. I see the gears for the directional headlight stuff and don't want to get anyway misaligned.

it's around the top of the trim, between it and the grill. You're just pushing down far enough for the tab clip to clear while you're pulling it out. When you reinstall the dust pans make sure the back of that front one is above that little tang on the Center Jack lift point.

I’m very new to this site and chats, not sure if this one is dead now but does anybody know how to remove the front center chrome trim on the base model?
