Purchase 2016 or wait for 2017 C300?
I'm looking into picking up an W205 C300 Sedan in Canada and since I'm pretty out of the loop in terms of MB life-cycles and what-not. What kind of updates/changes will there be in 2017?
If there are none or very little changes, I might as well try to get a deal on a 2016 model but if there are changes, I could wait another month or two months to get the newer model.
What would you guys pick?
Cheers

I personally could not see them adding anything that would create that wow factor to the 17.

When you say end of year, are you talking about when 2017 models come out(End of Aug/Early Sept) or Dec 2016?
Realistically I'd like to purchase the car in August hmm...

In the USA car dealers have love to brag, and have the highest number of units sold and dec is the last month for those numbers to count. Plus the newer c sedans will be on the lot. This should incentivize the dealers to give you a great deal if your looking to buy their old inventory. I'm told near the end of the month is also another good time to buy cars due to the sales goals.
It's up to you, I know 4 months can go by fast but not when your waiting on something. I think you should at least wait until the last week to purchase the car if you can't wait until dec. the last week of August is the last week of quarter 3. They want their sales numbers to be as high as possible before the quarters end.

I would say Aug/Sept...I was out looking at new Jags last week and they were really pushing the 2016 models to make room for the 2017s that are coming in. It doesn't cost anything to see what kind of deal you can get...and if your satisfied...pull the trigger!!
