Naviks front and rear camera interface - any experience here?

Hi,

I was looking at this http://naviks.com/i-21933127-2014-20...ines-dpgl.html

I have a 2015 C300 (was a CPO, so couldn't option it out as I wanted), and have been looking to add a rear camera, either OEM or 3rd party (as long as its not hindering with the OEM parts).

Does anyone have any experience with Naviks products? That interface looks like you have to take off the center console and get to the head unit to put that interface inline. I do not see the camera unit itself in that link, but I have a mail out to them for the camera.

Any thoughts?

thanks!

I don't know about naviks, but I installed this in my 2016.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAS-PDC-hand...-/231988107945

is almost 100% plug n play (almost because you need to reach the fuse panel in the passenger side to connect 12v and ground). No wire slicing or cutting.

Support from the seller via whatsapp was very helpfully. Here is the link to the installation manual.

Best regards.

I just installed rear camera. The Navline have 2 camera inputs.
For the installation I follow up this post: 2016 C300 aftermarket rear view camera DIY install

To remove the actual little black clips, I used a this TOOL, very easy.

The most difficult part was to remove the trunk handle, was a pain in the ****.
Basically I push from the inside of the trunk some orange clips. These orange clips hold the outside black plastic insert located just below of the chrome strip. I used some plastic trim removal tool to make sure not to damage the chrome strip just after I pushed form the inside those orange color clips. (4 clips)

After that, everything was very easy.

best regsards.
