I can't figure out how to always allow access automatically...I have to grant permission everytime I get in the car. I already have it "authorized" in the app settings. I also tried deleting & reinstalling. Help!

Are you referring to the MBrace app that requires your PIN when logging in?

No...its the MB Companion app, that tells you odometer reading, gas level, tire air pressure, etc.

I don't have that and apparently can't get it:

"Mercedes-Benz Companion app is currently only supported by the following vehicle models.

Model Year 2016 and newer vehicles with SD Card Navigation, manufactured on June 2016 or onwards."

Software update made it functional on 2016s prior to that date but it seems of very little practical use imho

I'm fine with MBrace, which I use all the time for navigation entries. That Send2Benz feature works well. Once in a while I'll use the lock function if I'm unsure if I locked the car, but that's about it.
