Hello,

I'm in the market for a C300 and I have a good idea of what I want. The dealers near me have cars that are 99% of what I'm looking for, colors and all. However, I'd like to get that Heads Up Display feature, and very few cars come with it.

What are the prospects of having it put in aftermarket? I assume it is not the most complex retrofit job there is?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

It is the most complicated retrofit. If you look at one that has it, not only do you have to replace the entire dash, you'll have to program and pull new wires that work with it. It's very, very costly to do so with Mercedes parts...

Ouch. They advertise the heck out of these features and then you can't even find a non-AMG car with them.

Gotta build the car to get all the features you want. HUD also requires a different windshield besides the dash and programming.
