I own a 2015 C300 that's pretty bare-bones stock. One of the things I miss from my previous car was the sunroof (not because I ever used the sunroof, but because I missed the black contrast.
So, I decided to wrap the top of the roof in black vinyl to give the car some contrast and key-down the excessive chrome grandma look. I have never wrapped a car before but it was pretty easy. I just removed the plastic roof rails, tore off the backing and then used patience and heat to move it the way I wanted. It's crazy malleable and forgiving so it was a piece of cake. Only took about 2 hours and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. The 3M 1080 vinyl only cost $50, so it was a fast, cheap, weekend project.
Good job. I also recently took to Amazon because my vinyl guy was very very busy. $50 worth of tools and 3m and a little bit of patience is all it takes.
