I have a 2014 GLK250 that I'm considering replacing for a 2015+ C300 simply because I would like to get a car with distronic plus and steering assist.

This will be an extra vehicle so buying something slightly used is fine with me. The question is when searching online it's not so simple to tell if the car has this feature. Is there any way to determine this by the pictures? Is the star on the C class filled with cameras and I simply need to look for that to help weed out the ones without it?

On a side note I was reading in here that you guys are getting something crazy like 10-16% off the MSRP of a new 16...or 17? If that is the case it may be worthy to go that route. The build I came up with puts the car around 60k but if 10-16% off can be had then this might be worth looking into.

Why not get a GLC? It is much improved over the GLK and has the interior and most of the C.

Good question, honestly I drove the GLC and wasn't that impressed. I didn't think it was any huge improvement over my GLK (taking the interior styling out). The rear cargo space was not as big as I imagined.

When going for the build I would get it comes in at 61k which for that price I don't feel the benefits outweigh the GLK. The reason I think C class is because of the discounts I have read people getting in here...if 10-15% can be had then that brings it down a bit to where I feel the price difference is justifiable.

In addition after seeing the GLC in person I didn't really care for the styling that much.

C class with glass star in radiator grill got distronic plus. Steering assist has a button on left side of steeringwheel with a steeringwheel on it. I would change glk for c class anyday IMO. Good luck in your car hunting

In Canada, C300's didn't get Distronic until MY 2016. If true in your country, it may exclude 2015's.
