August Incentives
I've been trying to negotiate a deal on a C450 . A dealer sent me a quote on July 30- the msrp was $62940 and selling price was $56,495. I was about to seal the deal today when I heard about the $1800 MB incentive for Aug. When I asked the dealer about this he said he had already included it. How could he have included it in a quote he gave me before the incentive went into effect? Is he BSing me?

i'm also shopping around for a '16 C450...
with MSRPS of anywhere from $55k-62K
best I've got is 10-12% off MSRP
some are not willing to combine offers such as August Incentives & Fleet Discount

Are you saying that the dealer who offers a 10-12% discount will not add the August incentive to that? I thought the incentive doesn't come out of the dealer's pocket...

Fleet discount is something they can't deny you of, and the dealership doesn't even have to foot the bill...corporate subsidizes is, so that makes no sense. Sounds like your dealership is full of ****.

For example, my deal is negotiated to be 10% off (of a C43 Coupe, which was originally negotiated on a C450 much earlier this year and then transferred). On top of that, I will add my Fleet discount (whatever amount it may be for my model at the month of it's delivery) when I take delivery.
