Do some of you have this? Knowledge on software for fuel consumption...
I have a problem with the fuel consumption on my car. When I drive 120km/h (74mph) the fuel consumption rises very fast to 11l/100km or sometimes even to 14l/100km (16-21mpg).
When I drive under 110kmh so under 2000rpm the fuel consumption is "normal" > around 8.5l/100km. (27mpg)
Mercedes Benz did a software update on the engine a couple of times. After that I got around 6.5l/100km (36mpg) on the highway so it worked,but when I restarted the engine the fuel consumption would go to hell again
After this MB gave me this bottle which cleans the tubes inside. It didn't really help. It must be something with the software...
So after the MB software update the fuel consumption on highway is good, but when I restart the car and proceed it's horrible...
Does someone have any knowledge or experience on the software for fuel consumption? Somebody knows what it might be the problem?
