COMAND -way to send a route to GPS/navigation

I have a 2016 C300W4 with the COMAND system. I know I can create a route on my PC and save it to an SD card that the navigation function can read, but I cannot access that once the car is moving.

Is there a way to save a route in the system itself, not on the SD card so that I could select guidance for that route when I am driving? I found that I could build a route, I think limited to 6 waypoints, and but then I can only save that to the SD card. But again, I cannot select guidance for that route when driving. Seems like I ought to be able to voice select a route?

I know the system reads GPX files, and I have a ton of them I use that I'd like to get at least a few on the car......

Thanks!

Unless you've installed a VIM unlock, the only thing you can probably do while driving is to use the waypoints feature. I think it only accepts four waypoints though ...
