C450 Winter Tire Size & Make - Thoughts?

That's the problem with internet shopping and color. The titanium color came in lighter than I thought they would be. But I'm still happy with them.

Just got these on last week but I still went for stagger.
Front: 18x8 +30mm with 225/45/18
Rear: 18x9 +40mm with 245/40/18
Pirelli Winter Zottozero 3.
As for Blizzak LM vs WS, it depends if you are dealing with just temperature or temperature with snow/ice. WS is better on Ice but LM keep the performance on dry. I had both and each got it's pluses and minus when it comes to powerful performance sedans. I prefer LM because WS is softer on cornering and not as confident on dry pavement. And I'm in Calgary and we have chinooks that ice/snow usually don't stick around for long. But our neighbor to the North, Edmonton, tends to have frozen ice on road for months. I would definitely pick WS if I live there.
It's also why I went with Pirelli this time, just to see how it fairs since it's been so well reviewed. So far it seems to be on par with LM on dry -5c weather. Have no way to test ice performance yet.
As for the rims, the price is right. Even cheap knock off are almost $170cdn per wheel at Costco and these are not much more than that. And originally I was going for OZ that is 1 lb heavier than at least $100 more than these FC04s. As long as they don't fail structurally, I'm happy.

Do you mind posting a picture in direct daylight and from the side (not angled)? That would help me a lot with my decision

I'm actually undecided between them and the Touren TR60. Thoughts? Opinions?

I was told +40 offset that fit in the rear won't fit in the front, so 245 up front is out of the question.

It's not perfectly clean as you can tell by the tires.
Steel Grey is forgiving. If you have white, definitely got with black. But not sure if the TR60 has the right offsets.

I just placed an order with my local Tirecraft dealer for the exact same Fast wheels, with Blizzak WS80's. We test fit a couple of other wheels including a set of Replikas and they cleared the brakes OK but the offsets where not low enough and I felt the clearance to the suspension was too tight. I went 18x8 all around, 225/45/18, no stagger, so I can at least do a front to back rotation.
Came in at under $2k all taxes in.

I just put on a set of Niche Misano 18 x 8 with 30 offset in matte black on my C450. I got them from my local Tirecraft store in Canada
Fits with no issues. Went with staggered tires, Toyo G3-Ice (studded) 225/45/18 and 245/40/18.

Glad this thread was of value to you guys!
Xtrema, Thanks for posting the pics - this gives me confidence that they will fit 100% with the tires. Looks good!
I am getting my WS80's (225/45R18) mounted next week... Still waiting for TPMS sensors that I bought on Amazon... ends up they shipped from China and it's taking forever... They better work when they get here!!
My total setup with the WS-80's came to $2100 CAD taxes in with hardware (lugs and hub centric rings), new TPMS sensors and install included.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences on this topic.
Question - I'm getting Blizzak LM32's fitted to my current MB 19" rims tomorrow. I'm assuming this won't affect my current TPMS sensors as they should transfer over with my current rims. Anyone have experience with this?
EDIT: Just read this thread and looks like we don't have TPMS sensors in Canada - https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ml#post6947435
EDIT2: As @flagman mentioned below, the C450 definitely has TPMS. Winter tires installed today, all good with TPMS.
