MB Tex or real leather if Designo pkg interior
Hello everyone.
I would like to know if I order exclusive Nappa leather $3500 option on c43 AMG
Do I get real leather dashboard and top of door or still the standard MB Tex with stitching ?
Thanks

I believe only the seats, armrests (all) and door inserts are actually in Designo leather on the C class. On the E class Designo packages include the door tops, armrests and dash top. On the S class the package includes most every surface including the overhead grab handles, the complete door panels (except for the inside of the map pockets), upper and lower dash, rear shelf, and behind the front seats (except for the map pockets). There may be exceptions to custom Designo packages not included in the online build.

This sucks.
In bmw 440i coupe they offer $4000 merino leather package which covers dash top and bottom. Steering wheel bottom plus door top . I am surprised that MB for the same price only offers seating area and armrests.
Btw I'm a BMW fan but this new C class really got my attention and most likely I'll get it over 440i coupe.

I'll bet that there quite a few BMW fans that were considering the 4 series, but went for the new C300 coupe...I did after 12 years with 2002 325 and 2005 Z4. The new coupe just aesthetically grabbed my eye, inside and out, that I chose to give up the superior performance of the BMW (but lacking style) in order to have the luxury feel and a "reasonable" ride.
I've had the coupe for a little over a month (600 miles) and have to say that although it does lean a little into curves (I'm not going hell-bent speeds) and it really doesn't give you the road "feel" that BMW does, the coupe does feel like an extremely well put together car that is peppy enough and does handle well-enough. It's a matter of luxury-sporty over sporty-luxury. I don't know how to say this, but driving the coupe leads me to believe that there is something about the way this car is made that gives me the feeling it is special???
