2017 model year apps and COMAND
Can someone explain the apps to me?. Can I skip the included Wi-Fi apps, etc.., and tether to my phone to get any data I need instead of paying for the apps?
Are the ships with it?
I know I don't need the concierge shop, but the rest? Where does traffic come from???

first of all, what country is your car located?
if it's USA, then you CANNOT tether your phone's data connection. only available connection is the verizon 3g connection which is slow as hell.
traffic comes from sirius/xm's antenna.
Sad, but when it comes to ICE (in car electronics) mercedes is light years behind the competition. Should take a hint from audi mmi or lexus enform. Heck, even the beemers have better ICE than benz even though their interiors look cheap.
