c450 now i want a c63S amg coupe

as the tittle says Im leasing a c450 since october of last year but would like to have the c63s amg coupe in the near future (next few months, fell in love with the freaking car). Already contacted my MB dealer and they told me to come in with the c450 for an appraisal to see were we stand in terms of a trade in etc and monthly payments for the c63s

I know the c450 doesnt even have a year under the lease agreement and i think they are going to kill me but again i really want that c63s amg coupe.
has anybody here return a lease so soon for another car under the same brand? what was the process?

thanks in advance

Any given month, your lease has a payoff amount. You can ask for this payoff quote from whomever you pay your lease fee to. If that payoff is less than what someone is offering to buy it from you for then great! You pocket the difference. If the payoff is more than what you are being offered in trade then you need to pay that difference or roll that amount into your new purchase.

Yeah, you're going to get slaughtered on the C450 unless you came in with a big down payment or trade equity. The value is going to be significantly less than the payoff, which is equal to the residual value plus the total of the remaining lease payments. Add those values together, subtract the trade in value and that's how upside down you are.

Remember that the dealer isn't leasing you the car. The dealer was paid in full for it by the leasing company. It's just a used car at this point and there's no incentive to do you a favor on the trade.
