Megan Racing Coilovers for the w205
Hey guys. Good news!!
I was was able to work with Megan Racing on their development of Coilovers for the w205. My car is a c300 sport. And after driving around on them for 1,000+ miles, I'm happy to report the news is good!!
I couldn't be happier with them. I could go a lot lower, but after having cars that scrape on every driveway and speed bump, I'm happy with how it sits for now, I will probably drop another 1/2" in the near future. The ride comfort feels like stock when cruising or regular driving. No extra sounds or noises, no clunks, no weird spring binding noises. It feels slightly stiffer and more planted in corners. In my opinion is perfect for the daily driver who enjoys some spirited driving.
I know a lot of people might discount Megan Racing as not being a quality product compared to some of those other expensive big hitter companies. But in my opinion it's all about what you use the car for. A lot of people talking smack are those who will spend 2k for Coilover suspension and then really only push their car for 7/10s of its potential. I've owned a lot of cars and used a lot of different brands for suspension. You wont be dissapointed with these when they are released!
I'd say 110% must buy if you want ride height adjustability and affordability for that perfect stance that fits you.
p.s. I'm in no way affiliated with the Company. Just an enthusiast giving my honest opinion!
