Can somebody tell me how to defog my mirrors please? It would appear the defogger doesn't go on automatically, no switch by the mirror adjustment, and I don't want to put the defroster on in the car on a warm damp morning.
I believe the heating/defrosting feature for the outside mirrors only comes on when one turns on the rear window defroster.
I'm not aware of any "automatic on" process for the outside mirrors...like when you remote start on a cold morning either. My old 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee had that function...I miss that!
Ahhh yes, remote start. I remember what that was like to press a button on my feyfob and have it start the car. I'm not bitter. In just saying though, in 2010 my Camaro had autostart that put the AC on over 75° and the seat heaters on below that, in addition to the mirror defogger when on too.
