Where is the M276 DELA 30 Engine Built?
Anyone know if the 3.0 TT V6 installed in the C400/450 built in Alabama is built in that plant? If not, is it from Germany, South Africa, or?

That article talks about the 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 that was in the 2012 and later C350 (called M276) , not the 3L TT V6 used in the 2015 and up C400/C450/C43 models (called M276 DELA 30).
It also doesn't explicitly say the engines are only built in Germany.

i guess i just sort of assumed they built it there, since they dont make the non turbo one anymore. http://www.myautoworld.com/mercedes/...es-plants.html doesnt look super official but it seems to indicate basically every drivetrain component is made in germany
i know mercedes makes some engines in Tennessee at that nissan joint venture plant , but pretty sure its 4 cylinder only there. did some googling and the parts still come from germany even on that engine. http://www.autonews.com/article/2014...output-in-tenn.

Only the M274 is built in Nissan/Infiniti's joint plant. The M276 is built in Untertürkheim in Stuttgart. The M274 is only assembled in Tennessee. The engine block still comes from Untertürkheim.
