Car isn't like the previous model where you just unbolt two screws and your done. Just by looking at the diagram I honestly cant tell how you are suppose to get the darn thing off. I dont see any screws to unbolt? I have a diagram. Who has done this? I have a US c250 1.8l petrol.

I personally would never mess around with such a safety system. It also tightens in an emergency situation.
May i ask why you want to remove it?
