do any of you have the soft touch material on the middle sections of the seats of your car? I looked at a few pictures of C450 interiors and it seems like some of them have a felt/velvety looking material on the middle sections of the car, however my C450 has the perforated vinyl
It is called DINAMICA and in the US was on the standard/base seats. The outer of those seats was MB-Tex so it was fake leather and fake suede combo, but nicely done.. In the US the other seats will be leather. Not sure where you are located or if it was different there.
Yes, sorry it's been a while since I ordered, forgot about the all MB-Tex If I remember correctly, the standard seats with red stitching had the suede. Without the red stitching was all MB-Tex.

my car has the black with red stitching and red seatbelts but its all mb-tex
Instead of relying on my obviously failing memory, I checked the order guide and the brochure. No guarantee those are accurate, but neither one shows Mb-Tex without the DINAMICA, in any stitching. Perhaps their were changed after those were printed, I know there was some movement regarding some options there with the vented seats. Are you sure yours are mb-tex and not leather?
The inserts are (insert your trademark fake suede), and the outers and dash are a textured faux leather with red stitching.
No venting was available but they are heated.
They stay very cool in the summer when direct sunlight makes other interior parts (I'm looking at you control knob and touch pad) untouchable. I love the seat material. This is the 3rd car I've owned with Alcantara seats. They are very easy to keep clean too.
