For Model 205, Model Years 2016 and 2017

Retrofit Cover on Prefuse Box in Engine Compartment as per factory specs.
Just had this done while at the dealer. Just an FYI

no idea what this is for. anyone have a clue?

sounds like they exchange the cover on the prefuse box.. lol

I would imagine it now has some sort of firewall, etc. built in to reduce liability of fires or something?

Current :2018 E63S and a 2018 GLE 63S . Prior, CLA 250, C450 AMG, 2017 AMG C63S
They did the same at my most recent service, about 2 weeks ago.

It's due to the possibility for moisture to accumulate in the ESP connector causing error messages on the dash. The cover is replaced to prevent that.
