Not a glitch my old job I used to take a scenic road from one end of town to the other and I'd get up to 40mpg. My last trip from South Dakota to Minneapolis I ran 93 octane and a can of octane booster and got 37mpg for a 250 mile trip driving 80-85

you only drove 7 miles, in Vermont heading about 10 miles away from the mountain I ski at its possible to get in the mid-50's because most of the way is light throttle, down hill, etc. You can't call it a "record" after 7 miles of driving.

Mind you, I wasn't going down hill. It was on a flat, busy, slow and congested highway, going at less than 40m/h.
