Dead Battery Already?
My battery died last weekend and left me stranded for 2 hours while I waited for MB roadside assistance to come out and change the battery. No lights were left on and the car is 18 months old with less than 16k miles. Has anyone else had a battery die this early? I thought this was extremely odd, given I live in Northern CA and the temps don't get very low. The roadside assistance tech thought it was odd and didn't have an explanation either.

Excluding the obvious interior light left on....
any my accessories plugged; in dash camera that stays in after ignition off, Bluetooth OBD2 module that bleed current continuously??
If none of those it's possible to have a faulty battery..
If if it happens again you have a short somewhere... And that's down to merc to track down...
As as an aside I bought a Bosch smart charger to top up the batteries every few weeks to avoid issues.
docthe same in the motor bike and its batteries last over 5 years..

Still waiting for my C350e.
Out of interest, is there a separate battery for the engine since there is a "quite large" battery to run the car?

It's positioned in the rear. Under the hood you will find a special contact that is connected to the 12V battery so you can use starter cables.
