Upgrading OEM Halogens to OEM LED's

So I did some searching but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I have access to a set of 2016 OEM LED housings complete with ballasts. Can someone tell me what is needed to get them to work? I realize it might be extensive but still looking for the answer.

I'm not asking how to upgrade to aftermarket, I understand how to do that..I'm looking for OEM Halogen housing to OEM LED housing upgrade...Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's doable, not impossible. But it won't work completely and you'd have to do all the work yourself. No dealer or shop would do it for you.

Very difficult to do. Different wiring harness as well as programming. Not plug and play.

Certainly not plug and play. But no programming is needed. The harness is very similar, but a few wires/pins need to be rearranged/rerouted. But all of the rewiring is done at the headlight housing, so it doesn't mess with the car's wiring.

Any chance you can clarify which wires needed to be adjusted on the housings? I have a set that was given to me so figured its worth the effort. I'd appreciate any specific info you can provide to save me some time. Thanks!

Man, I spent almost an hour replying to your post. But when I hit on "Submit", it asked me to log in, and after logged in, what I typed in was gone. I guess I'll make update to the eye surgery post and you can look for it.
