if you have sports package, the steering wheel will be flat-bottom sport steering wheel. This does not offer option for heat.
however, the regular round steering wheel for base and luxury package both offer heat option.
i was surprised to find that my sports package c300 came with the regular round steering wheel. i was about to exchange the car when i learned that my steering wheel had heat. i decided to keep it.
i might be the only sports package c300 with heated steering wheel. ^^

Yep, Mercedes dropped the ball on the heated sport steering wheel. Great feature to have when the thermometer drops into the teens or lower, and you don't like driving with ski gloves on.
Our past BMW 3 Series and current Jaguar XE 35t had (have) sport steering wheels which were heated.
